After a tough day of competition, the Black Hawks boys team finished 5th overall, and competed and performed well. Top performers of the day were Senior Jadon Pearson who broke hid own records in the 110/300 hurdles and positioned himself as the top ranked hurdler in Division 2. Jadon ran 14.49 in the 110’s and 38.72 in the 300’s as well as he placed first in both events at this meet. Junior Mason Bugg went out and broke his previous record in the javelin with a throw of 158′ even. This also earned him a 3rd place ranking in Division 2 as well as 3rd place at the meet. Mason started his morning off with a big leap of 20′ 9.50 inches in the long jump which earned him 3rd place as well. The 4×400 team turned in a great time as they finished the day with a 3:29.80 and placed 2nd. The 4×800 team lowered their time with a 8:37.84 and this placed them 5th at the meet. Jailand Goudy placed 5th in the triple jump with a 40’5 inch jump and Noah Plaza placed 6th in the 3200 with a time of 10:23.47. It was a great day for these young men, Good Job!
