Black Hawks News · Christmas Angels an Incredible Success!

Each year, STUCO puts together the annual Christmas Angels drive to support our local community in need. Ran in conjunction with The Salvation Army, The Christmas Angel program brings many different clubs, sports, classrooms full of students, and individuals around campus together for one goal: providing gifts to children in need during the holiday season. With everyones help, yesterday STUCO had the honor of donating over 450 toys, worth over $6200, to 107 children in need for the holidays. That is an absolutely amazing feat! This couldn’t have done this without the support of WF students, staff and community members. Special thanks goes to our Student Council Community Service Committee; they worked extremely hard to keep such a monumental task organized and running smoothly.

Also, STUCO would like to thank each of you who wrote letters to Santa for the Make-a-Wish campaign. We had over 1000 letters turned in, which means over $1000 donated to Make-a-Wish from Macy’s!! We are so proud to be part of a community that enjoys giving back as much as we do!!

Way to DOMINATE this holiday season!
