Meet Recap

The score doesn’t touch the performances the boys had this past Saturday at the Ojo Rojo Invitational at Tumbleweed Park. Again, with very competitive teams, four of our guys set personal records. Rex Maxwell started things off for the freshmen running over a minute faster than his last meet on this course and turning in a 22.56 performance; while Kale Rusaw showed another impressive race for his first year career on cross country. The varsity squad then stepped up even more with Senior Bennett Bushman leading the team with a season record of 17.21. In addition, another season record was taken by Tyler Hill giving us a number 2 finish while Senior Joriel Cura ran a personal best placing third for the team. Not far behind were David Yang setting a personal record in the time of 20.09, and Kade Andrade setting a personal best with a 20.10 performance. Noah Cox rounded out the team’s success dominating once again for his team. The team continues this week as they prepare for yet another domination in Tempe on Saturday.
